Representative Bergman Stopped By Hancock

Sep 24, 2020

Representative Jack Bergman was in Hancock yesterday, on a Trump campaign bus, traveling across the U.P.

“Forty Five days til the election and I was there at a gathering this morning just up the hill from downtown Hancock to rally the good people of the Houghton/Hancock/Keweenaw area to make sure they come out and vote in the 2020 election.”

Bergman, who is running for re-election in Michigan’s 1st District, which covers just under half of Michigan’s land mass, also had this to say:

“I’m running for re-election I mean I’ve ben there two terms. I’m a guy that you know, I don’t make promises I’m not gonna do everything I can to keep. Ya know, for example, my first and foremost project four years ago to work on was the new Soo Lock, and of course now were moving dirt.”

Bergman closed with this:

“We have a lot of good people, and what the American people do not see every day through the media, is Democrats and Republicans in the House of Representatives who work together, all day long, every day, to try to hash out good policies, for the American people.”
